The Cleveland Browns, still reeling from the effects of the horrendous Deshaun Watson trade, currently sport one of the worst rosters in the NFL. But that doesn’t mean they have zero talent. Here are the top five most important players for the Browns.

5. Grant Delpit, S
Primarily a box safety, Delpit was a good run defender and great blitzer for the Browns in 2024. The former LSU Tiger led the team in tackles with 111 and recorded 7 tackles for loss.
4. Jerry Jeudy, WR

A former first-round pick who failed to meet expectations in Denver, Jeudy broke out in a big way in his first year in Cleveland. Finally commanding a WR1 target share, Jeudy racked up a career-high 1,229 receiving yards and made his first career Pro Bowl.
3. Denzel Ward, CB
The Browns’ defense was easy pickings for opposing offenses in 2024, but Ward was certainly not at fault. He posted an absurd 19 passes defended, made 49 tackles, and intercepted two passes, making his fourth Pro Bowl.
2. Joel Bitonio, OG
Bitonio has been a big-time contributor for the Browns since his rookie year in 2014. The seven-time Pro Bowler provides a stable presence on the interior of the offensive line to run the ball and protect the quarterback effectively.
1. Myles Garrett, DE

Garrett is one of the NFL’s best edge rushers, and his 14-sack season in 2024 earned him his fourth career first-team All-Pro nod. It was also his sixth career season with at least 12 sacks. Unsurprisingly, the Browns rewarded Garrett with a $160 million contract over four years this offseason.
