The Tennessee Titans have one of the worst rosters in the NFL, and it shows. New head coach Brian Callahan couldn’t get anything going, and the Titans finished with a division-worst 3-14 record. However, they currently hold the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Here are the top five most important players for the Titans.
5. Tony Pollard, RB

Pollard was one of the few bright spots for the Titans offensively in 2024. Despite a poor 2023 season in Dallas, Tennessee took a chance on Pollard in free agency, and it paid off. The 27-year-old produced 1,079 rushing yards and five touchdowns in his first year with the Titans.
4. Amani Hooker, S
The Titans’ secondary was Swiss cheese in 2024, but at least they had a ball hawk to force some takeaways. Hooker snagged a team-leading five interceptions and forced two fumbles, helping the Titans get off the field and give the offense better field position.
3. Calvin Ridley, WR

The Titans’ passing game was disastrous in 2024. But most of that blame can be placed on the shoulders of QB Will Levis. Ridley did his best to provide an aerial threat all by himself: the veteran wideout averaged nearly 16 yards per reception while racking up over 1,000 receiving yards.
2. Vondre Sweat, NT
A big body in the center of the Titans' defense, Sweat had a great rookie season in 2024. Although he recorded just 29 total tackles, his 362-pound frame demanded double teams, allowing for his teammates to get into the backfield and make plays.
1. Jeffery Simmons, DE

Simmons is by far the Titans’ best player: his 2024 PFF grade of 80.2 was four points higher than the next-closest player (Sweat). His disruptive play for a defensive lineman is some of the best in the NFL: Simmons recorded 76 total tackles and five sacks in 2024.
